• experience in UNIX/Linux infrastructure.
• Expert level knowledge of Linux/Solaris/AIX
• Intermediate level knowledge of Veritas Volume Manager (VxVM) and Veritas Cluster Server (VCS).
• Strong familiarity with NAS migrations. Prior experience with migrations in a NetApp filer environment a plus.
• Very good understanding of NAS setup for Linux/Solaris/AIX servers.
• Experience with file based protocols such as NFS, SMB, FTP, FTP and HTTP as well as troubleshooting.
• Strong Experience setting up AIX/Solaris/Linux servers as clients to a NAS filer.
• Experience / Troubleshooting TCP/IP, Routing, DNS, NFS.
• Experience  in VMware/ESX servers to configure and support Linux VM’s
• Ability to develop shell scripts as per requirements.
• Effective in dealing with Crisis calls/Critical issues for business critical services
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to work under pressure, takes ownership, and delivers to commitments.
• Very good communications and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience in managing and building relationship with business partners and customer service.
