Job Description :

The Client Tax Information Reporting team (the ‘CTIR Team’), a part of the Tax/Finance function, runs a centralized reporting solution to handle all reporting obligations under the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), the OECD Common Reporting Standard (‘CRS’), the UK Crown Dependencies and Overseas Territories reporting regime (‘CDOT’), Canadian Tax Reporting, US QI Reporting (i.e. Form 1042-S / Form 1099), and any other similar automatic exchange of information reporting regimes which may come into force in the future (collectively the ‘CTIR Regimes’).
The CTIR process involves identifying, sourcing, validating and reporting client tax information to tax authorities (and clients), including reporting obligations imposed under and the Common Reporting Standards (CRS).

The role will provide support towards the CTIR/CRS reporting solutions/processes to ensure compliance, including data collation, data analysis, data validation, reports consolidation, reports validation and submission of reports to regulators.

Work with the Project / Reporting lead in delivering the various CTIR / CRS commitments on the agreed timelines.
Focus on the areas assigned for delivery, learn the activities and meet the timelines of all FATCA / CRS for the assigned Deliverables
Highlight any Data quality issues/exceptions identified during the Reporting process to the line manager for appropriate corrective action, before the submission could be made.
Learn the activities within the assigned timeline, raise necessary questions on clarifications and be on top of the activities assigned for delivering them independently with least support from the lead manager.
Interact with Key Project team members / Country stakeholders if the work necessitates.
Follow the Operating instructions at all point in time while executing the work.
Complete all assigned work within the agreed timeline.
Help follow the established control and governance mechanisms within the processes handled.
Review the outcome of the control checks in-built into the process and help highlight issues identified through these control checks for appropriate action.
Work with the manager in capturing appropriate metrics for tracking actual hours/ standard hours/ errors etc.,

Essential
Degree qualified with a preference in a Business, Finance, Accountancy, Law or Taxation from a reputed institution with 4+ years’ experience.
Strong process & data analysis skills, ability to prioritise and manage to defined time lines
Proven ability to work within a team environment and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders;
Confident and capable user of Micro Soft applications like Excel, Word, MPP, Visio. SQL knowledge is preferable. Advanced knowledge in Excel skills is preferred.
Knowledge of international banking products, systems and /or processes would be appreciated.
Previous experience of regulatory reporting project or in any Dara Warehouse would be an advantage
Good written and verbal communication skills.
FATCA / CRS working knowledge on Reporting is an added advantage.
