Job Description :

Senior Programmer Analyst eCommerce to support our enterprise eCommerce solutions at the Downers Grove location. Senior Programmer Analyst designs implements and supports the web development for website functionality and will work closely with other Software Engineers Business Analysts and Quality Engineers in a highly collaborative environment The website team is dynamic fast paced and highly collaborative Ideal candidate must be able to thrive in an environment where change is constant 

Responsibilities:

• Requirement Analysis, Design and Development of new use cases for our eCommerce platforms
  
• Learn business functions to effectively participate in technical analysis, design, construction and implementation.
  
• Architect full stack applications and coordinate with development teams to deliver quality solutions
  
• Code solutions to problems using a structured approach keeping in mind long term maintainability and quick accessibility.
  
• Test coded solutions against customer acceptance criteria to ensure quality applications.
  
• Consistently and accurately document application projects. Your technical documentation (for new development and maintenance) is complete, understandable and accessible.
  
• Improve your knowledge in new technologies in order to use them in approved projects.
  
• Participate on special projects and complete other duties as assigned.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or an equivalent
  
• 5-7 years experience web application development using JAVA / J2EE and object oriented design.
  
• Has a minimum of 5 years of experience in integration technology, including web services, APIs, MQ/JMS
  
• Experience with one or more of the following: NoSQL, Oracle Database, XML, XSLT, PL/SQL
  
• Experience with Tomcat setup, JDBC and POC creation
  
• Knowledge on Ant or Maven build tools, SVN / GIT source control systems
  
• ESB experience working with WS02 or Mulesoft is nice to have, but not required
  
• AWS is nice to have, but not required
  
• Familiar with Agile methodology and comfortable in a fast paced development environment.
  
• Support existing website functionalities and perform root cause analysis to prevent production issues
  
• Monitor and improve all ecommerce systems to maximize reliability and stability
  
• Understanding of business processes, project management/planning, time management
  
• Motivated and capable of contributing in fast paced environment while maintaining quality of performance.
  

Communication Skills:

• Ability to clearly write technical specifications
  
• Able to effectively communicate across teams and roles
  
• Excellent verbal and written communications
  

1. Should have worked on e-commerce platform, preferably involving Elastic path as the provider.
   
2. Should have experience creating or modifying existing Maven scripts. 
   
3. Java 8 experience
   
4. JMS, MQ Series is a nice to have as it is being used currently.
   
5. Experience working on applications hosted on cloud environment.
